Author/ Blogger Garr Reynolds says our Lance Armstrong Foundation End of Year video is “the kind of video presentation that gets noticed, remembered, and moves people toward action. You can’t watch this and not want to be part of the cause.” Read the whole thing. And go watch the video.

Last Day in Japan

Our last day in Tokyo was a breezy one, ended with rain, but successful. We filmed at a cool design store that had vintage furniture and unique designs by the owner. It’s called Meister. We wrapped up the day shooting b-roll around the city and ended the night with some shots at the hotel and bar featured in Lost In Translation.

Tokyo, Day 2

Another post and some photos from Wilson….it’s 1am now and I’m downloading the video from today. Big day today. We went all over the city and captured footage for our featured restaurant and bar. The restaurant and bar were cool… a very nice head chef/owner of the Maru, the restaurant. Montoak, the bar, was swanky. I ate a hamburger there. It was not sushi or sashimi. It was totally cooked and it was GOOD.

Back to Tokyo

Wilson and George arrived in Tokyo yesterday to kick off filming City-By-City Asia, a web-based travel show we’re producing for ON Networks. Each episode will feature five hot spots, the most up-to-date destinations for today’s high-end traveler. Here’s a review from Wilson about their first day of shooting.

Out at 7am. We went to the biggest fish market in the world.  We saw every kind of sea creature imaginable.  Seriously.  Yummy.  Then, we went all around Tokyo a few times, shot a hotel, and ended the night in this little alley that has a ton of “restaurants.”  This usually entails a dude at a grill who is trying to get you to sit down at their shop and eat.  None of them wanted to be filmed. We talked one woman into it by buying some food from her.  Pretty neat place.
